The In-Person Club meets Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00 pm at Gateway Fellowship Church (60 N Recker Rd). We offer both speech and debate at the in-person club. Our juniors speech club meets every other week. We spend the fall semester training on writing/debating and as we transition into the spring semester we spend more time working on delivery, editing, and polishing. Tournaments take place during the spring semester, from January – May.

It is encouraged for parents to stay on site during club. If this isn’t possible, please contact club leadership to discuss arrangements. We all work together, parents and students, to learn these skills. The club is open for students ages 8-11 for juniors speech and 12-18 for varsity speech and debate. Parents are required to attend the entire tournament or students are disqualified. Being at club will help you be prepared to judge and work as a staff member at the tournament.
